I am the original owner and I purchased it as part of a collection in the late 1980s or early 1990s, this star diagonal has been carefully stored in a foam lined case in a temperature controlled environment (a house, not a shed or garage). When used, the diagonal was unboxed, used for observing, and then returned to its box capped. As such, it is in super condition and shows
