Antique Silver Belt Buckle, Austro-Hungarian Garnet and Mother of Pearl, c.1870 iberian She looked out onto theThis fantastic Austro Hungarian belt buckle is set with fifteen glowing cabochon cut garnets which contrast beautifully with mother of pearl accents. The stones are set in silver bezel mounts which are accented with twisted wire frames. Unlike some antique and vintage buckles, this one is actually large enough to be worn with a contemporary belt. There are two garnets that have hairline fractures, these are located at the top and bottom of the half of
