Bodega Ostatu Rioja Gran Reserva, 2011 hand harvested Richer Older Ancho BrotherMade from the finest Tempranillo and Graciano grapes, this wine is aged for 24 months in oak casks and an additional 5 months in oak tubs, resulting in a long lasting, elegant wine with pronounced acidity. With aromas of candied fruit, woodwork, tobacco, and fine cocoa, and a sweet, velvety and spicy taste, this wine is a true expression of the potential of great vintages in Samaniego. Pair with roasted lamb and spicy rice or an old fashioned paella.
