It was inspired by the elegant but playful costumes in Venice the day before Lent begins. It's the Italian version of Mardi Gras. I dyed a quarter of the skein in purple and the rest of it in splashes of Burgundy Rose, Renaissance Blue, Lilac, and Eggplant. This colorway works great for assigned pooling, but you can also use it for normal knitting or crocheting. YARN PAIRINGS Carnevale looks fabulous with Monet, Ball at
