Shaped on the wheel and wood fired, each form carries natural variation in tone and texture. Based in Malm, Sweden, Yuichi draws on techniques honed during a four year ceramics apprenticeship in Japan. His elegant, functional tableware reflects an intentional balance of tradition and innovation. This item is part of our New Makers programme. In its eighth year, five makers
